Jess Duggan

Jess joins Browne Consulting with 15 years of operations and event management experience. She spent 10+ years working in hospitality, first managing social events and large-scale university events before moving into corporate events at Yaymaker, in Somerville, MA. Jessica built the Yaymaker Private Events department, leading a team and significantly increasing company revenue.

Most recently Jess was the Operations and Business Development Manager at The Boda Group, an executive coaching firm based out of Boston, MA. She was instrumental in executing a successful acquisition, streamlining operations, and driving business development. Jessica excels in strategic planning, team leadership, and client relations, consistently achieving key performance goals and fostering team success.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
