Kristen Rebello brings more than seven years of experience in public and internal audits to Browne Consulting with four years already in the life science industry. She shares “what I love about working for Browne is the variety of different life sciences clients that I work with, and really being able to get a glimpse into all the amazing science that is going on in the world. I love being able to help them focus on that science and let me take care of the finance/accounting that falls into my expertise. It makes for great partnerships and teamwork and drives success!”
Prior to joining Browne Consulting, Kristen served as Internal Audit Manager at Biogen and began her career with PwC. As an Audit Manager at Biogen, she I learned the life sciences industry and developed a passion for the industry. She focuses on adding value to the business in any way possible, whether it be through managing SOX financial controls testing program or conducting operational audits to help improve processes around the company. She has led teams as large as six and is known for her dependable support for all.

Controller
Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.
