Mallory Latson, Senior Controller, brings over 12 years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting. Mallory has advised clients on a variety of operational accounting matters such as management of financial reporting, budgeting, and system implementation.

Prior to Browne Consulting, Mallory worked at PwC where she began in assurance, serving asset management clients for five years. She then transferred to Transaction Services, focusing on financial due diligence for five years as a Manager and Senior Manager, assisting both corporate and private equity clients with buy-and-sell-side deals.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
