Marcello Castellano brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting. Marcello joined us as a Director, and now leads a direct team of four. He is responsible for a total of 15 employees. He has worked with clients through many of their milestones, from early-stage discovery through Phase 1 clinical trials. Marcello advises clients on a variety of operational accounting and finance-related matters, such as the initial accounting function set-up and scaling, internal controls, processes and policies, budgeting/forecasting, and audit readiness and support.
Prior to Browne Consulting, Marcello started his career working in public accounting at PWC where he worked in the audit, global capital markets and financial due diligence groups. After public he worked in outsourced accounting and finance roles for start-ups as well as finance effectiveness for PE-backed companies.

Controller
Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.
