Marta Grala

Prior to Browne Consulting, Marta was working as an Accounts Payable Specialist for one of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques. There, Marta was in charge of processing full cycle AP and settlement payments as well as giving client support with any AP related matters. Before that, Marta was working as an AP clerk for Aerospace and Life Science manufacturer and that was where she gained most of her AP experience. She is passionate about helping clients and always making sure to provide the highest level of professionalism.

Marta prides herself on continued improvement and believes that hard work and discipline will always get you far in life.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
