Meaghan O'neill

Meaghan O’Neill enjoys the exposure Browne Consulting provides “to a variety of clients in different funding stages. I have clients in seed funding, Series A funding, and one who was recently acquired. It’s been so interesting to see different funding rounds for each client and to be on this journey with them as they reach their goals and milestones.” Her areas of focus thus far have included financial reporting, budgeting, and HR matters.

Prior to Browne Consulting, Meaghan worked as a Senior Audit Associate at RSM where she worked with private companies in the consumer product and technology industry. She explains, “I wanted to work in the life science industry for companies that are researching treatments and cures for cancer and other diseases.

She enjoys working in the life science industry because the work is so meaningful and will create a better future for all.”

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
