Omolara Okubanjo brings over 13 years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting. Omolara leads a direct team of four and is responsible for a total of twelve employees. As a Director for Browne Consulting, Omolara has advised clients on a variety of operational accounting matters such as audit preparation and support, cap table modeling, management financial reporting, preparing budgets and long-range forecasts. There is a plethora of clients at various stages of funding ranging from Seed to publicly traded with several acquired by Eli Lilly.

Prior to Browne Consulting, Omolara was an experienced Audit Senior Manager at KPMG working with clients in financial services, healthcare, and non-profit industries.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
