Sanjay Shah
Sanjay brings over 25 years of financial planning & analysis experience to Browne Consulting. As Vice President, FP&A, Sanjay will be responsible for establishing, building, and developing the FP&A practice at Browne Consulting. In his role, Sanjay will be advising clients on multiple workstreams, such as developing the FP&A capabilities, budgeting and forecasting, evaluation and implementation of financial systems, processes and policies, cash flow and long-range planning.
Prior to joining Browne Consulting, Sanjay worked with multiple companies – from private companies to publicly traded companies. In these roles, Sanjay supported the R&D and Commercial teams and was part of several launch teams. Additionally, he oversaw the establishment and development of the FP&A function at some of these companies.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
