He credits what he enjoys most about Browne Consulting is the “great work life balance, and the opportunity to work closely with clients and see a tangible impact for their company.” Stephen advises clients on accounting policies, budgeting, and other operational accounting matters. Prior to joining Browne Consulting, Stephen worked for PwC auditing Asset and Wealth Management entities. But chose to work in the life science industry “to help companies grow and be able to provide a meaningful impact to society.” And to date, the most exciting challenge of his professional career has been assisting a client in going public.

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.
