Thomas Linden
Tom Linden brings over nine years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting. As an Associate Director on Browne’s Launch Team, Tom specializes in establishing operations for our newest clients and guiding founders through the process of building their companies from scratch. Tom is a seasoned project manager and supports the company internally by leading strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Browne Consulting, Tom was a Manager at EY, leading consulting projects in the Financial Services industry (projects including systems strategy and implementation, data strategy and automation, accounting change and SOX compliance). Before that he “cut his teeth” in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls at John Hancock Financial Services in Boston.

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
