Patricia (“Trish”) Pare brings 16 years of Accounts Payable experience to Browne Consulting. She advises clients on vendor maintenance and 1099 prep/issue. She writes, “I love the ability to work remotely in a culture that is like a family. I also love seeing our clients grow.”

Prior to joining Browne Consulting, Trish worked in many different industries ranging from automotive, food manufacturing, software creators to internet providers. Her most rewarding experience professionally to date has been taking “a company that was paper-based and floundering to completely paperless and efficient in under 3 months.”

Mark Mele, CPA, MSA

Controller

Mark Mele brings over eight years of accounting and finance experience to Browne Consulting Group. Mark joined our team as a Controller, and now leads a team of one overseeing several newer clients who eagerly await their next significant R&D milestones. His areas of expertise are operational accounting, audit/tax preparation and support, accounting system implementation, management/investor financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prior to Browne Consulting Group, Mark worked at RSM in the Assurance practice serving clients in the renewable energy, manufacturing, and construction industries. After RSM, Mark worked at Cambridge Health Alliance as an Accounting Manager.

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra, and why?

A: “Be a goldfish” – Ted Lasso

According to Ted Lasso, the happiest animal on Earth is a goldfish because it has a ten second memory. While one should learn from their mistakes, there is no need to dwell on them. Learn and move on.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I play in numerous recreational sports leagues.
